Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church, 197 Suncrest Street, Gray: Sunday Bible study for all ages will begin at 10 a.m. and worship services will be at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Family fellowship will begin at 7 p.m. wednesday. Central Baptist Church, 300 N. Roan St., Johnson City: “The Kingdom of God Is At Hand” is the sermon title for all Sunday worship services. Mountain View Baptist Church, 4005 Bristol Highway, Johnson City: Please join us at 9 a.m. on Sunday for Sunday school services in the church and at 10 a.m. for our drive-thru. Grace Baptist Church, 612 Collins Drive, Johnson City: “We’re Better Together” is the title of Pastor Hobbie McCreary’s Sunday message sermon. He will use scriptures from 1 Corinthians 3: 9 and Acts 2: 1. The service will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. There will be no Sunday school.

First United Methodist Church, 900 Spring St., Johnson City: “The Lamb of God” will be Pastor Jodie Ihfe’s sermon for in-person and live service at 10:30 am. We will celebrate the baptism of Jesus by remembering our own baptism. Additionally, during service, we will recognize church leaders who are terminating their service and install new leaders who begin new roles on ministry committees and teams. Liberty Fellowship Church, 1011 E. Holston Ave., Johnson City: “Be aware of your adversary,” from 1 Peter 5: 8-9, will be the message for the Sunday worship service at 11 am. Downtown Christian Church, 335 E. Main St., Johnson City: Sunday service will be in the sanctuary at 10:45 am Jack Harris, Senior Minister, will deliver the message. Dr. W. Edward Fine, Associate Minister, will lead the fellowship meditation. Stephen Moore, Intergenerational Minister, will lead the offering meditation. The Wednesday evening Bible study will meet on January 12 at 6 p.m. and continue its study of Revelation.
