ABU DHABI, October 16, 2021 (WAM) – Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) has started providing influenza (influenza) vaccine to residents of Abu Dhabi in line with the “Immune Yourself, Protect Your Community” campaign launched by the Ministry of Health and Prevention, the Abu Dhabi Department of Health and the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health.

SEHA offers the flu vaccine to all residents of all of its health centers in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra. People wishing to get vaccinated can call the SEHA 80050 call center or through the SEHA app to make an appointment, either at one of its health centers or through the SEHA COVID-19 drive-thru centers. . The flu vaccine is available free of charge to adults over 50, children under five, students aged 5 to 18, determined individuals and pregnant women and to all Thiqa card holders, smokers, Hajj and Umrah performers, body mass index 40 and above, chronic disease patients who suffer from diabetes, cardiovascular disease, chronic liver disease, kidney failure, chronic lung disease, including asthma.

SEHA also offers the flu shot through a home visit service which costs AED 350 per visit regardless of the number of people requesting the vaccine – you can book a home visit in Abu Dhabi via number 027116091 and at Al Ain via number 027111502. Vaccines are also available to businesses in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain by calling the same number.

In addition to this, SEHA provides influenza vaccine in all SEHA COVID-19 centers, especially for the most at-risk groups of the elderly (over 50) and people with chronic illnesses such as asthma, in addition to pregnant women. SEHA also provides the vaccine during home care visits to elderly and chronically ill citizens and residents, as well as to all SEHA medical staff.

Health centers that provide flu shots in Abu Dhabi include Al Bateen, Al Madina Occupational Health Center, Al Mushrif Children’s Specialist Center, and Al Zafaranah Diagnostic and Testing Center.

In central Abu Dhabi, vaccinations are available at Al Maqtaa Health Center, Madinat Khalifa Health Center, Madinat Mohamed bin Zayed Health Center, Al Bahia Health Center, ‘Al Falah, Al Samha Health Center, Baniyas Health Center and Al Khatim Health Center.
