Five Gloucestershire schools partially closed tomorrow amid staff covid cases

Five Gloucestershire schools are partially closed tomorrow (March 15) due to Covid-related staffing issues. Those affected are Oakwood Primary School, Redbrook Primary School C of E, St. Briavels Primary School Parochial C of E and Westbury-on-Severn Primary School C of E.

Oakwood Elementary School closed its Class 10 for the rest of the week, as well as Monday, March 21. It is hoped that students will be able to return to class on Tuesday, March 22.

At Redbrook C of E Elementary School, the Kingfisher class is closed tomorrow. The school said children are welcome to attend St Briavels and join their age group. Alternatively, there will be distance learning available on Seesaw.

Poppy Class will be closed at St. Briavels Parochial C of E Primary School due to staff Covid-19 cases. They also announced that remote learning will be available on Seesaw.

Westbury-on-Severn C of E Primary School Class 1 will also be closed tomorrow. Parents were urged to check out Google Classrooms for home learning activities.

The Ridge will also be partially closed, with mums and dads asked to keep an eye out for messages sent by class teachers.
