GDS plans to construct two new data center buildings on site, with a total net area of ​​approximately 10,000 m² and 28 MW of total computing power. GDS plans to secure a renewable energy supply to support the data center site.

The Indonesian government has viewed the Nongsa digital park as a Special economic zone and Indonesian President Joko Widodo described it as the country’s “digital bridge” to the rest of the world. The company’s development in Nongsa Digital Park will complement its existing project in Nusajaya Technology Park, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, forming a solid core for its “Singapore Plus” strategy in the region.

The Company recently entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with a major Chinese cloud service provider to support its international expansion, under which GDS will be prioritized as a data center provider in the region.
