HUNTINGDON – The following cases were heard in Carroll General Sessions Court on February 23 and 24.

Related cases in Carroll County Circuit Court were:

Tracy L. Longmire, Highway 424, Yuma, destination for burglary other than home and theft of goods $1,000 to $2,500.

Christopher Steven McCaslin, Old Lavinia Road, Cedar Grove, bound for unlawful possession of weapon and theft up to $1,000; dismissed charges of stealing property from $2,500 to $10,000 and stealing up to $1,000.

Derek T. Grooms, Broad Street, Hollow Rock, bound for assault-bodily harm, resisting arrest and 2 counts of domestic assault; dismissed the charge of aggravated burglary.

Carlos Lazenta Milton, Elm Street, McKenzie, Tied to Possession Weapon – Convicted Felon, possession of illegal drug paraphernalia and 3 counts of simple possession/casual exchange; dismissed the charges of Meth-MFG, delivery, sale, possession with intent, possession of a firearm with intent to make armed-dangerous felony.

Arthur Teas, Spruce Street, McKenzie, to Schedule VI Drugs-MFG, Del, Sell, Poss; dismissed charges of drug possession in a drug-free zone, methamphetamine, delivery, sale, intentional possession and possession of illegal drug paraphernalia.

The following cases resulted in guilty verdicts or guilty pleas:

James Paul Forrest, Hillcourt Circle, Huntingdon, guilty of possession of a handgun under the influence, 11/29, supervised probation and mental health evaluation; dismissed the charge of public intoxication.

Vincent Edward Chapple, Buck Ditch Road, Huntingdon, guilty of breach of probation, 30 days in jail and termination of supervised probation after 30 days; dismissed the charges of failing to appear-2 counts.

Raymie Lee Craig, West College Street, Bradford, guilty of failing to appear and driving while revoked, 20 days in jail and 9/11 supervised probation; dismissed charges of 4 counts of failure to appear, reckless driving, failure to stop at stop sign, expired registration, violation of financial responsibility act.

Christavon R. Horton, Walnut Avenue, McKenzie, guilty of theft up to $1,000, 45 days in jail, no contact with victim, 10/14 unsupervised probation; dismissed the domestic assault charge.

Earl Kindler, Cotton Creek Road, Bruceton, guilty of probation violation, 10 days in jail and extended probation for period of noncompliance; dismissed charges of 2 counts of failing to appear and possession of illegal drug paraphernalia.

Maurice Lawrence, Coleman Road, Memphis, guilty of failing to appear, 18 days in jail, 11/11 supervised probation, no contact with business and mental health evaluation; dismissed charges of criminal trespass – 3 counts.

Patrick M. Oliver, East Cedar Street, Dyersburg, guilty of criminal impersonation, 50 days in jail and 4 months unsupervised probation.

Shaun Allen Uhrick, Melton Road, Camden, guilty of Meth-MFG, delivery, sale, possession with intent, $1,000 fine, 90 days in jail and 20/28 supervised probation; dismissed the charges of failing to appear and violating the Financial Responsibility Act.

Adam Stanley Young, Hwy 104, Cedar Grove, guilty of failing to appear, 23 days in jail and 11/6 unsupervised probation.

The following cases were diverted or diverted:

Abbigail Gamble, Bridgeman Street, Huntingdon, pre-trial diversion for evasion of arrest, alcohol and drug counselling, 7 months probation and 40 hours community service; dismissed charges of failing to appear, resisting arrest and public intoxication.

Joseph Walters, Route 436, Trezevant, pre-trial diversion for theft of property $2,500-$10,000, 11/29 suspended sentence except 10 days, unsupervised 11/29 probation and $200 restitution, costs justice and taxes; guilty of domestic assault, 11/29 suspended except 10 days and 11/19 probation without supervision; dismissed charges of Possession of Methamphetamine or Casual Trading, Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Surrender Armed – Dangerous Felony, and Theft of Property $1,000 to $2,500.

Melissa Ann Crawford, Hwy 106, Ellington, Mo, pretrial diversion for failing to appear-misdemeanor, 11/29 unsupervised probation; dismissed the charge of allowing a dog to run loose.

Darius B. Love, Hwy 104 W, Cedar Grove, pretrial diversion for theft of goods up to $1,000, unsupervised probation on 11/29 and no contact with businesses.

Shawfon Powell, Hamilton Street, McKenzie, pretrial diversion for child abuse/neglect/endangerment-attempt and public intoxication, follow all DCS recommendations regarding his child.

Jesse Thomas, Westport Road, Huntingdon, pre-trial diversion, merchandise-shoplifting, paying fees and taxes and no contact with businesses.

The following cases were dismissed:

Dustin Ray Billings, Cotton Lane, Huntingdon, dismissed charges of 2 counts of aggravated assault, 2 counts of domestic assault, aggravated animal cruelty and public intoxication.

Kevin J. Carey, Fewell Lane, Lavinia, dismissed charges of failing to appear, driving while suspended, violating the Financial Responsibility Act and driving with diligence.

Angelica Holden, Forrest Avenue, McKenzie, dismissed charges of Meth-MFG, delivery, sale, intentional possession and possession of Schedule VI drugs, possession of illegal drug paraphernalia and resistance on arrest. Charges can be re-filed if the defendant is arrested again.

Shaun Allen Uhrick, Melton Road, Camden, dismissed the non-appearance charge.
