(December 21, 2021) Staff at Fairwinds – Nantucket Counseling Center sent this message to the Island community on Tuesday:

Holidays can be very difficult. If you or someone you know has suffered a loss, is alone, or has physical or mental health issues, the daily struggle can seem overwhelming.

We want you to know that Fairwinds is always there for you with support at all levels. From now until the start of the new year, we will be increasing the coverage of our Urgent Behavioral Health clinic with additional clinicians.

These urgent and free Zoom sessions with a mental health therapist are available every day at 5 p.m. Call (508) 228-2689 in the morning for the schedule.
