NCET, the largest member-supported nonprofit in northern Nevada that offers educational and networking events to help people explore business and technology, has announced its comprehensive list of informational events and networking event in December.

NCET Technical Wednesdays take you every month behind the scenes of a local business or organization that makes or uses innovative technology. The Abbi agency is hosting the NCET December event, which kicks off Wednesday, December 8 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. relationships, social media, web design, media buying and graphic design. Tickets cost $ 20 for NCET members and $ 30 for non-members, and advance reservation is required. More information is available at: https://www.ncet.org/ncet-event-calendar/abbi-agency.

NCET’s Biz Cafés feature local thought leaders who present informative discussions on a wide variety of topics, from soft skills to the hard sciences. December’s Biz Café event features Alexanne Stone, a neurolinguistic programming and body language trainer. Decorated Vietnamese-era veteran and best-selling author, Stone will teach attendees “the invisible language of leadership,” exploring the topic of using body language to become better communicators. It will help you answer questions such as “is your reality really real?” And “Will the sights, sounds and feelings change your success?” This event will take place at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center on Wednesday, December 15 from 2 to 4 pm. Admission is free with prior registration at: https://www.ncet.org/ncet-event-calendar/unseen-language-of-leadership.
