NLP innovates in higher education – Prof. S. Sandarasegaram

“The Institute of Hypnosis and NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) Lanka programs are breaking new ground in the field of higher education,” said Vice Chancellor of Esoft Metro Campus, Prof. S. Sandarasegaram.

He was speaking as a chief guest at the Institute of Hypnosis and NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) Lanka (IHNLP) Annual Awards Ceremony.

The ceremony recognized Certified NLP Practitioners and Master Practitioners who have successfully completed the Certified NLP Practitioner and Master Practitioner courses.

Guests of honor were National Design Center Chairman Ajith Jayawardhana and Managing Director and CEO of Bridge to Bridge Solutions Dr. Prasanna Wijesinghe.

Professor Sandarasegaram said: “I have been informed that the NLP programs run by the institute are used to treat a wide range of conditions now affecting the community and unwanted/unhealthy behaviors such as phobias, substance abuse, family/work conflicts, sleep disorders, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder and depression. You deliver courses selected using criteria such as professional development opportunities, labor market needs and relevance to societal needs and you also respond to the challenges of the emerging knowledge economy in Sri Lanka by producing young people able to join it with relevant knowledge and knowledge. soft skills,” said the professor.

NLP is a way to change thought pattern and behavior using verbal and non-verbal communication to achieve desired results for anyone.

All NLP courses taught by IHNLP Lanka are accredited by the NLP Association of Excellence (NLPEA), UK, and the courses taught and supervised by NLP Trainer Jaliya Rathnayake.
