EUGENE – Oregon’s first transfer of the post-Mario Cristobal era is a starting cornerback.
UO’s starting cornerback DJ James entered the transfer portal on Thursday, a source confirmed to The Oregonian / OregonLive.
James, a sophomore in third year, has made 46 tackles with four stoppages and two interceptions this season.
The Mobile, Ala. Native is the first Oregon player to enter the portal since Cristobal left for Miami on Monday.
