Rise Against Steps Up Comic Strip Efforts, Just Unveiled Rise Against Presents: Generation Nowhere, the companion graphic novel to their ninth studio album, released earlier this year.

The group was featured on the Black Nights: Death Metal DC Comics soundtrack, contributing to the new song “Broken Dreams Inc.” to all. Now the focus is entirely on post-hardcore icons, who worked with Shaun Simon (The real life of the fabulous Killjoys, Electric century) and artists Sally Catirino, Val Halvorson, Huseyin Ozkan, Soo Lee and more on the Generation nowhere graphic novel, which will be released this fall via Z2 Comics.

As expected, this graphic novel embraces themes from Rise Against’s latest album, which is topical in many ways and emphasizes strength in numbers, denounces power play tactics and corruption within the ruling class, and talks about the impact this has on younger generations.

“This is a glimpse into the lives of the abandoned, a collection of distraught individuals who come together for a revolution; these are the stories of those who fight,” says a press release.

Pre-order the Generation nowhere graphic novel through the Z2 Comics online store, where fans can choose from several deluxe editions as well as softcover and hardcover editions. Exclusive vinyl variations of the album are also available for purchase.
