A woman who transformed her own life through therapy has received an award for helping others using the same techniques.

Gabrielle Preston-Banks works as a therapist and rapid transformation coach from her home in Stamford.

She uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, hypnosis, psychology, and neurolinguistic programming to help people deal with anxiety and depression.

She received the Extraordinary Therapist Award at a Speakers for Leaders ceremony in London.

The award recognizes an individual who makes “extraordinary transformations” in the lives of their clients.

Gabrielle said: “It’s amazing to have this award and to receive this recognition.

“I am grateful to everyone who has supported me on my personal life journey. I feel so honored to have been chosen to receive this award.

“My parents always taught me that you can achieve anything you want.”

Gabrielle primarily works with business leaders and has clients around the world, whom she connects with via video calls.

She said: “There was a time when I had post-traumatic stress disorder and depression. I discovered this type of therapy and it worked for me.

“I was looking for a new career at the time, so I trained as a therapist and a coach. It’s the best job ever, because I can change people’s lives every day. I love it that.”
