Life Insurance Leader Wins Coveted Triple of Brand Excellence, Including Gold for ‘Best New Incoming Brand of the Year’ and Silver for ‘CSR Brand of the Year’

Ceylinco Life was voted Sri Lanka’s “Service Brand of the Year” in the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) Brand Excellence Awards, recently reaching the pinnacle of brand excellence in all sectors by winning one of the five best prizes awarded during the gala.

The company also won awards in two of eight special award categories, winning gold for “Best New Brand of the Year” for its “Pension Saver” product and silver for “Brand CSR of the Year” achieving a prestigious treble. for 2021. This was the second year in a row that Ceylinco Life won silver for CSR Brand of the Year.

Ceylinco Life’s second Gold Award for “Best New Entrant of the Year” recognized the success of “Pension Saver” – a new retirement plan with life protection that offers premium insurance, loyalty rewards and a monthly pension after maturity. The new product brand has helped raise significant awareness of the importance of retirement planning for Sri Lankans, which is clearly communicated through the product features and the touchpoints and messages used to promote the brand .

The “CSR Brand of the Year” award recognizes the ongoing impact of Ceylinco Life’s multifaceted community wellbeing and sustainability initiatives. These included building and donating classrooms, donating essential medical equipment to hospitals, conducting free “Waidya Hamuwa” health camps, and developing and maintaining High Dependency Units (HDUs) ) in major hospitals.
