AVON, Colorado (December 21, 2021) – The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa Avon, Vail Valley is pleased to announce that Lauren Warkentin has been appointed Spa Director for its award-winning Anjali Spa.
The resort also promoted Chad Armijo to club manager at The Westin Track and Field Club.
Warkentin most recently served as club manager at the Westin Riverfront Track Club. Previously, she was Marketing Director for KJUS North America Inc. and East West Hospitality and as Content Specialist and Social Media Manager for Gorsuch. A Washington & Lee University graduate and competitive endurance runner, Warkentin has raced all the Colorado 14ers and competed in numerous ultra-trail and road races.
Armijo has been a coach at the Athletic Club since 2014, teaching Pilates, Core Chisel, Sculpt and other group exercise classes. Armijo holds two Masters of Science in Business Management and Adult Education and holds a Bachelor of Psychology. He is also a Certified NLP (Neurolinguistic Programming) Master Life Coach, Certified NLP Ericksonian Hypnotherapist and the author of two books – “Wake Up and Re-calibrate: Mindset for Success In the New World” and “10 Daily Movements to Save your back.
The Athletic Club & Spa Anjali at the Westin Riverfront offers 27,000 square feet of spa, fitness and wellness facilities, all with extraordinary views and access to the 25-meter outdoor saltwater pool and three infinity hot tubs.
