Meet Sushma Perla, a Master Life Coach from Visakhapatnam

Everyone is said to have a real self, but experts believe it seems to be buried under layers of emotional baggage. The team of Yo! Vizag reached out to Sushma Perla, a Master Life Coach, Emotional Alignment Specialist and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner to understand the importance of being emotionally aligned in today’s world. With a degree in psychology, Sushma trained at the Robert Simic Coaching Institute in Dubai, to become a Master Life Coach in Visakhapatnam.

Sushma helps clients take concrete action to achieve their goals, get rid of suppressed negative emotions, and break unwanted thought patterns.

She believes that people are able to accomplish more than they realize and are limited by their own beliefs.

Breaking the taboo surrounding seeking help, Sushma shares, “Consulting a life coach doesn’t necessarily mean you have a traumatic past or a multitude of issues. It might also be just to improve your current thinking, feelings, and life, making your life easier. Emotional alignment builds resilience and aligns a person’s thoughts, actions, and desires. When faced with a setback or disappointment, an emotionally aligned person bounces back much faster than others ”.

“You can’t just stay in the same frame of mind and expect different results,” she says. As a life coach at Visakhapatnam, she has seen many of her clients dealing with issues of low self-esteem, anxiety and fear.

Importantly, after the pandemic, she saw an increase in the number of clients with low self-esteem and procrastination. “The minute I relieve them of their limiting beliefs, they start to feel empowered and see new possibilities that were previously deemed impossible by the mind. They feel that they can achieve whatever is important to them ”.

“In times of overwhelming emotions like anxiety, it’s important to recognize and validate your emotions and practice grounding techniques,” Sushma adds.

# 1 Focus on what you want, not what you don’t want.
# 2 Apply healthy limits.
# 3 Act for change and personal growth.
# 4 Move your body – exercise, dance, walk, etc. and shake off the stuck energy.
# 5 Practice earthing techniques for anxiety.
# 6 Gratitude journal.
# 7 Mindfulness – choose a routine of meditation and reflection that is sustainable for you.
